Wow!! What a fantastic day! Maddie was such a cute gal and she has a really fun personality. She brought along a friend (Shannon - one of my previous seniors) for company and we all laughed a LOT the whole time!! Those two girls are CRAZY together! They are seriously willing to try absolutely anything, even if it means possible broken bones or injuries!! And what's worse, they talked me into joining them in their craziness! Anything for a great shot, I guess!! lol Thanks for such a fun session Maddie!! :)

Okay...so I think I might have actually photographed Pocahontas today! Take a look at her photos and you can see that this girl is clearly gorgeous with her long, dark hair and brown eyes! And she was really good at picking up on posing cues with very little explanation... which basically means she's a natural!! And the added bonus...she was a lot of fun, too! :) Thanks, Helen!!

Brooke was calm and relaxed for her session which always makes for great photos. And several times during her session I found myself thinking about a tropical vacation...which might sound like a bad thing but it's not at all! The outfits she had chosen were bright and colorful and just made me think of some of the flowers I loved so much in Hawaii! Brooke was easy-going and just went with the flow, which I think is very cool...and it makes the session really stress-free!
We didn't get the best weather for Ali's session...but it didn't slow us down at all! Ali was a trooper and she wasn't going to let a little rain ruin her session. It required a little bit of creativity in finding places outside that we could use for portraits without getting wet and that's just what we did! And by the end of the session, the rain had stopped and we were able to get out of those sheltered places and finish up her session.
Okay....so, Shannon's session was honestly SOOOOO much fun!! We were all laughing like we had known each other for years within the first 10 minutes of the session! And the laughs did not stop!! Shannon was such a sweet gal and she was super easy to photograph!! She was up for trying anything if it meant getting a great shot! I can't speak for her, but I do know that I won't forget her session anytime soon! Great job, Shannon!!
I met Susie & Al last year while on another family session. They were friends of the family I was shooting then. They ended up scheduling their family session a full year in advance! When the day came, we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather and ended up with some wonderful portraits! What a great family to work with!!
